We are MKP Farms

"MKP FARMS is an Agro Zambian Business based in Chibombo District of Central Province. It was established in 2012, registered and incorporated with PACRA, Tax Compliant with Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) and registered with Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA). Its business includes; growing and selling a wide range of fresh farm produce such as Tomatoes, Leafy Vegetables, Onions, Butternuts, and Sweet Corn. Currently MKP Farms is running an out-grower scheme with about 36,000 farmers of which 8,000 are cooperatives, 15,000 are women, and 10,000 are youth while 3,000 are disabled farmers in Central Province. The overview of this scheme is that small scale farmers in Central Province have already been engaged in the climatic resilience training on how to grow a variety of high-valued vegetables. Once they grow and harvest these vegetables, MKP Farms collects, packages and STORES these crops in the cold-rooms. Finally, MKP Farms provides market linkages for the farmers to both the local and foreign markets. Some of our off takers of our fresh vegetables are the local chain stores and supermarkets such as Shoprite, Dew Fresh Products, Melisa, Choppies and Cheers. The farm has been contracted to grow and supply Chilies to a Danish Food Processing Company, the Farm is also growing sweet corn for supply to a number of food processing companies in the region. We are a major supplier of fresh vegetables and fruits to a number of chains stores in Zambia
